Born out of a love of pizza
JD’s Hot Honey was started by Jade during lockdown in 2021, after she and her husband found a new obsession with home cooked Neapolitan pizza. Feeling like sweet chilli and hot sauces on pizza no longer cut it, she started testing some home cooked recipes with natural honey infused with fiery red jalapeños.
it wasn't long
... until they couldn’t eat a pizza without a drizzle of the hot honey and they realised that they loved it just as much on fried chicken, fish, roast veg, BBQ and just about anything else. Jade knew that she needed to share the sweet heat of hot honey with others.

... a few years and JD's is growing fast! It's a staple with the BBQ and pizza community, experiencing serious online growth and stocked in the likes of Ocado, Whole Foods and John Lewis... as well as being a trusted ingredient for Pizza Hut!
